VERIFACTU

VeriFactu is an electronic invoice verification system, driven by the Tax Agency (AEAT), designed to combat tax fraud and improve transparency in invoicing. It is part of a new regulation that seeks to digitize and automate business billing processes.

Objective

VeriFactu aims to ensure the integrity, safety and traceability of electronic invoices, making them more difficult to handle and facilitating their verification by the AEAT.

Operation

The invoices issued through a VeriFactu certified billing software are sent electronically to the AEAT in real time, where they are recorded and verified.
