The balance of the Sacred Kingdom of Keidas is compromised when, from the other side of the Velo, it is invented by powerful and wild beings known as “ spectra ”. The spectra corrupts their victims and they can even own their bodies, making them immeasurable creatures who take advantage of the living. The chimeras, warriors, born of the uni of two souls, are the "nicas" that can protect humanity.

Briar and Lute are two sisters who have been reborn as chimeras. The transformation has given Briar a superhuman strength and resistance, while Lute, who was sacrificed to unite his soul with that of his sister, has become a ghost with powers. Briar and Lute are entrusted with the mission of recovering a city in ruins, but they discover that the order they belong to has a much complex plan in mind.
