A new member for the Nintendo 3DS family
Nintendo 2DS XL: a new option for consumers between Nintendo 2DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL consoles. This new 3DS style drop-down console will be available in black / turquoise and white / orange combinations, and has the same screen size as the console New Nintendo 3DS XLbut, as their own name indicates, the images will be shown only in 2D.

This console is lighter than the New Nintendo 3DS XL, but it has the same power and comes with integrated NFC to be able to use cards and amiibo figures.

It is compatible with the extensive library of games of Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS, including those of characters and franchises such as Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Kirby, Pokémon, Fire Emblem, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., Animal Crossing or The Legend of Zelda, which are exclusive to Nintendo consoles.

The 2DS XL screens are 82% larger than Nintendo 2DS and the same size as New Nintendo 3DS XL.

More control options
The New Nintendo 2DS XL console, with its C lever and ZL / ZR buttons, offers expanded control options in compatible games. The C lever allows a more sensitive control that reflects the applied pressure.

Compatible with amiibo
The NFC is integrated into the touch screen. By putting a amiibo (for sale separately) on the touch screen using a compatible software, the console will be able to read and record data on the amiibo and the games will offer you new possibilities.
